The quality of figures now available for O gauge layouts continues to improve noticeably. We populated the dairy with a set of the Modelu dairy workers and milk crates and Merlin's Models milk churns. Paul Davis has taken on the task of painting the permanent way gang and they are looking ready for work!
Cambrian Road Developments.
Paul Davis has been working his magic on the Group exhibition layout Cambrian Road. There are 2 new boards which have added a dairy to the layout and Paul has successfully taken on the task of completing the scenery that helps sit the buildings comfortably into the landscape. The 'before' pictures below show the starting point and where Paul finished up!
This was the not quite 'blank canvas' that Paul had to massage into shape. It was work in progress that was rushed to get the layout ready for our last show.
An enjoyable evening on 12 December at Pentrecwt when members enjoyed Christmas cheer although without the mulled wine - probably a good thing...
Selwyn had an opportunity to run his newly acquired trams, Gareth stretched the legs of his Hatton's A4 which runs beautifully and our new member gave his recent 00 purchase having its 'running in session.
